Kara and Michelle left their small sedan with the valet of the large hotel. Kara caught sight of herself in the hotel’s expansive windows. She paused to smooth her light brown bob, adjusting a hair that wasn’t out of place. Michelle smiled at the tension in Kara’s face, stood on tip toe to place a kiss on her high cheekbones.
