If you haven’t figured it out, we (She & I) have not met. It seems as though every lesbian that I’m remotely compatible with lives outside of a 500 mile radius. Sigh.
It doesn’t matter because even if she was here, I could not date her. I still have a month left on my sabbatical. And while she wanted to come visit before the sabbatical was over, I had to remind her that I could not date her. That means that kiss that we’ve both been daydreaming about would not happen.
Now she will come just as my sabbatical is ending. We may exchange that kiss, and probably a few more. Yay!
Oh, but this blog wasn’t about kissing…
You should know that I do plan to keep my 90 day rule. So what if the 90 days started while I was on my sabbatical. I make the rules, ha!
To add yet another twist to things, she’s told me that once we are intimate, she will expect me to only be hers. The intimate act will confirm our commitment to each other.
No, this wasn’t part of my original rule, but I got my rules and she has hers…
So we wait. And there isn’t anything wrong with that.

How did I never notice til just now that you made your debut on Sept. 8th, 2008? That was 40 years to the day from when I made my soul’s debut. Also the day the original Cora Belle was born, the day I saw my first sundog, the day of the first MySpace wedding I attended — in fact, I once wrote a long blog dedicated to 9/8. Thrills me that’s when BrownGirl was born!
And of course the day I notice about 9/8 is 8/9. Sorry, I’m high, haven’t been to bed yet, was actually unexpectedly in bed with a woman last night. So of course we gotta talk, but first, sleep…..
Omg, I was thinking your 90 day rule was for when you first got to know the person. Like you wouldn’t do anything with the person you just met for the first 90 days. You should do it that way too.
